In the 30 seasons since 1985, the Bulldogs have produced 24 winners. The 13 Bulldog MHSAA playoff appearances are the most amongst OK Green teams.
Building on the tradition through Integrity, Teamwork, and Perseverance.
"Greatness is made when the stadium is empty but is revealed when the stadium is full."

With the help of Tona Ambrose, the Bulldog Football program provides two opportunities to serve the local community.
The first opportunity is packing snack bags for the Hand-2-Hand program and occurs the second Wednesday of every month from 6-7pm in the basement of Byron Center Ministries. If possible, please bring one or more boxes of quart sized Ziploc bags.
The second opportunity is working with the Streams of Hope program and occurs on on the third Wednesday of every month from 6-7pm at the Streams of Hope building at 280 60th St in Kentwood.
Pick an evening, grab your Bulldog gear, and give back to the community that makes fall Friday nights so special!
Kicker Hunter DeWindt, not only has a big foot but also a big heart. The summer he was able to attend the "invite only" Kohl's National Kicking Camp. From this opportunity he started a fund to help Kids fight Cancer through pledges for points he scores during the season.
Hunter was able to personally raise $2,000 dollars for the Kick-It foundation. Please take the opportunity to congratulate Hunter for serving a purpose much larger than himself and representing Bulldog Football, BCHS, and the Byron Center Community with a servant heart.
“When you are knocked down, you have only two choices; wallow and feel sorry for yourself, OR get up, suck it up, and carry on as if no one can beat you. You choose.
Each time you face that choice, you shape your own destiny ever so slightly. If you are on a team, you shape the destiny of your teammates as well. Each time you hang your head and turn down the challenge, it becomes a little more likely that you will take the easy way out next time. Each time you act with courage and opt for the right thing, you increase the odds you will choose well the next time you are knocked down.
In time, you will become a product of your own accumulated responses. If you are courageous and answer each ‘gut check’, you will become a success long before you ever win.”
